Meet the Team


  • Founder & CEO

    Seth Schermer has a proven track record of executive leadership and positive impact across a diverse range of organizations.

    As the former Chief Development Officer and Chief Operating Officer of the LGBTQ+ Victory Fund & LGBTQ+ Victory Institute, Seth spearheaded the successful implementation of a 5-year strategic growth plan.  Under Seth's leadership, the organization experienced exponential growth in staff, program impact, alongside significant expansion in all revenue streams that led to doubling the organization’s annual revenues and bringing in more than $50 million.

    Prior to his tenure at the LGBTQ+ Victory Fund & LGBTQ+ Victory Institute, Seth served as Vice President of Philanthropy at The U.S. Soccer Foundation, where he raised $30 million in three years and established a sustainable funding model for national programming through diversified revenue streams.

    Seth has also served as Senior Director for the Optica Foundation, Director of Political Outreach & Development for the American Association for Justice (formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America), as an advisor to a private family foundation, and as a political and non-profit consultant for U.S. Senate and Congressional members of Congress.

    With a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, Seth has consistently championed initiatives to expand board and volunteer engagement, enhance program accessibility, and foster community collaboration.

    Seth is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and National Association of Charitable Gift Planners.

    Seth grew up in New York and South Florida. Seth attended the University of Maryland at College Park and currently lives in Washington, D.C. with his husband and their mini-schnauzer Pepper.
